Founded in 1965, Baoti Group is a key enterprise invested and built during China's "Third Five-Year Plan" period to meet the development needs of national defense and cutting-edge science and technology. It was officially commissioned in 1966, marking the official start of China's titanium industry. Over the past 60 years since its commissioning, Baoti people have overcome numerous difficulties such as lack of technology and equipment, achieving leapfrog development. Today, the annual output of titanium materials has exceeded 40,000 tons, and the output of titanium products has ranked first in the world for four consecutive years from 2021 to 2024.
As China's largest and most complete rare metal R&D and production enterprise focusing on titanium and titanium alloys, Baoti has three major industrial sectors: titanium industry, equipment design and manufacturing, and new industries. It has built a complete industrial chain from sponge titanium preparation to titanium deep processing, and established ten major production systems. Its products cover more than 110 grades, nearly 300 varieties and more than 6,000 specifications. It takes the lead in formulating more than 90% of the industry standards in China's titanium field, achieving a "zero breakthrough" in the formulation of international titanium standards.
