2.Ways to remove small size and thick wall Grade 9 titanium pipes
1) When rolling small gauge thick wall Grade 9 titanium alloy tube, the deformation of two roll blooming rolling is 39%, and the inner and outer surface quality of tube is better.
2) When three roll cold rolling small size thick wall GR9 titanium alloy tube, the Q value should not exceed 0.87, so as to ensure good inner surface quality and no cracks. Consider a good match between strength and plasticity. Better mechanical properties and microstructure can be obtained when the deformation of three roll rolling is 30%.
3) In the rolling process of GR9 titanium alloy tube, every 1-2 passes of rolling, oil removal, acid pickling, annealing, straightening treatment are carried out, and then sandblasting + acid pickling method is used to remove the inner surface cracks. By taking this measure, the qualified rate of flaw detection of finished pipe can be increased to 35% - 40%.
