3. Application case
1) Stainless steel clad steel plates are used in delayed coking unit, sour water stripping unit, hydrofining unit, PA / PTA hydrofining unit, as well as some fabricated aluminum inner floating roofs and heat exchangers in refineries.


2) Delayed coking unit
The function of delayed coking unit is to make heavy oil pyrolysis, polymerization, light oil, middle distillate and coke. Due to the high sulfur content of processed heavy oil (up to 1.25%), there are sulfur (s) corrosion and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) corrosion in the process of processing, among which the coke drum and fractionator are the most seriously corroded. 0Cr13 (410S)+ Gr60 stainless steel clad steel plate is generally used for carbon tower body; 0Cr13 (410S)+A36 stainless steel clad steel plate is used for fractionation tower body because the middle wall temperature of fractionation tower is higher than 260 ℃, and the thickness of composite layer 0Cr13 (410S) is not less than 3mm.

3) Sour water stripping unit
The waste water discharged from each process unit of refinery usually contains hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide (CO2), so it is called acid water. The device uses the method of heating gas to reduce the gas phase partial pressure of each component, and steam out hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), carbon dioxide (CO2) from acid water for recycling. Obviously, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), carbon dioxide (CO2) and cyanide are the main corrosion sources of the unit. Generally, in the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) stripper, 1Cr18Ni9Ti (321)+ A36 stainless steel clad steel plate is selected from 600mm under the tray of the feed inlet to the top of the tower, and the thickness of the base layer depends on the specific situation.

5.Heat treatment of stainless steel clad steel plate
(1) Low temperature heat treatment:
According to different kinds and structures of stainless steel materials, the specific formulation, but the degree of stress relief should be enough to grasp, generally between 500 ~ 700 ℃, holding 0.5-4.0 hours, cooling with the furnace.
(2) High temperature heat treatment (normalizing)
Normalizing: a heat treatment process in which materials or parts are heated to a temperature slightly higher than the critical temperature, kept for a certain period of time, and then cooled in air.
Normalizing heat treatment can eliminate the residual stress, refine the grain, improve the strength and toughness of materials and parts, and improve the cutting performance of forgings.
For high carbon steel, normalizing can change the network carbide structure into intermittent or chain distribution, so as to provide convenience for future heat treatment (spheroidizing annealing).
Generally, it is between 850-1150 ℃ and 0.5-4.0 hours. Quick cooling is adopted instead of slow cooling or furnace cooling. For austenitic stainless steel, the temperature range of intergranular corrosion (450-800 ℃) should be avoided. The specific process should be formulated according to the material.
