1.Product Introduction

Titanium clad steel plate is a widely used bimetallic composite material produced by explosive rolling technology,which firmly bonds titanium sheet to carbon steel.The base material adopts carbon steel dedicated for pressure vessels,featuring excellent structural strength,pressure resistance and weldability.The cladding layer is made of commercially pure titanium,which offers superior resistance to acid,alkali,seawater,hydrogen,sulfide and chloride ion corrosion.

Combining the strengths of both metals,this material solves the problems of easy corrosion and short service life of ordinary carbon steel,and also avoids the high cost of solid titanium delamination,delivering stable overall performance.

In the reaction process of TA section, there is acetic acid corrosion, and many equipment are lined with titanium materials. In PTA section, because catalyst palladium and products are sensitive to metal ions such as Cu²﹢,Cr²﹢,N﹢,Fe³﹢, these metal ions have toxic effects on palladium and reduce product quality. Therefore, titanium is also selected as the material.
