Copper Steel Explosion Weld Clad Plate

1. Product brief Introduction

The copper steel explosion weld clad plate shall be delivered after heat treatment, leveling, shearing (or cutting), and oxide skin removal on the surface of the cladding. The heat treatment state shall comply with the provisions of GB150 or J4732 standards for corresponding base materials.

2. Mechanical properties

The combined shear strength of the composite interface of the copper steel explosion weld clad plate shall not be less than 100MPa. For double-sided composite plates, different side cladding materials are reserved for the shear test. Only the tensile test of the base material shall be conducted for the composite plate, and the test results shall comply with the provisions of the base material standard. Only the impact test of the base material shall be conducted for the composite plate, and the impact test temperature and impact energy shall comply with the provisions of the base material standard. If there is no requirement for an impact test in the base material standard, it will not be subjected to an impact test.

3. Bending performance

Testing for inner bending (pressure on the surface of the cladding) and outer buckling (tension on the surface of the cladding) of single-sided composite plate and outer bending (tension on the surface of the two kinds of cladding) of the double-sided composite plate. The results shall comply with the provisions of Table No bending test shall be carried out for the composite plate with the base material as part.

4. Technical requirements and characteristics for the production of copper steel explosion weld clad plate

1）Technical requirements:

The cladding material shall be annealed. The technical requirements of the substrate (such as delivery status, mechanical property inspection rate, ultrasonic testing, etc.) for the substrate, the composite plate with the lower limit of standard tensile strength greater than or equal to 540Mpa shall be used after technical review. When the cladding materials need to be welded together, the relevant technical requirements shall be determined by agreement between the supplier and the buyer and shall be indicated in the joint room.

2 ) Characteristic:

The cladding metal and base material shall be attached with the quality certificate (original) of the material manufacturer. The content of the material quality certificate shall be complete and clear and stamped with the quality inspection seal of the material manufacturer. If there is no original quality certificate, the composite plate manufacturer shall obtain the copies of the inspection official seal and the handling person's seal of the material adding and supplying unit, and shall be responsible for the authenticity and consistency of the materials used and the material quality certificate.

5. Inspection rules

The composite board shall be inspected by the supplier's quality inspection department. Composite plates shall be delivered in batches, and each batch shall be composed of composite plates produced by the same material combination (covering materials and base materials are the same brands, the same thickness, and the same delivery state) and the same explosion welding and heat treatment process. Ultrasonic testing, dimension (except the thickness of cladding material), and surface quality shall be inspected one by one, and other items shall be inspected by batch. The inspection items required by the Demander shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the contract. Upon agreement between the supplier and the buyer, other items can be inspected
