1. Product Introduction
Titanium clad plates for pressure is a composite plate made by explosive welding with titanium and titanium alloy as cladding metal and carbon steel, low alloy steel, or stainless steel as the base metal. This part is applicable to explosion welded titanium clad plates for pressure with a total thickness greater than or equal to 8mm.
2. Technical requirement
Cladding and base metal:
2.1 The standards and grades of cladding materials and base materials shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. The cladding material shall be annealed, and the technical requirements of the base metal (such as delivery status, mechanical property inspection rate, ultrasonic testing, etc.) shall also comply with the provisions of JB4732. Grade III or IV forgings shall be used when forgings are used as base materials.

2.2 For the base material, the clad plate whose lower limit of standard tensile strength is greater than or equal to 540Mpa can be used only after technical review.
2.3 Through the agreement between the supplier and the buyer, the cladding materials and base materials other than the standards in Table 2 can also be used, but the brand of the cladding materials and base materials selected shall have similar chemical composition to the grade in Table 2, and the technical requirements shall not be lower than the provisions in 2.1.
2.4 When the cladding materials need to be welded together, the relevant technical requirements shall be determined by the supplier and the buyer through agreement and indicated in the contract.
2.5 The cladding material and base material shall be attached with the quality certificate (original) of the material manufacturer. The content of the material quality certificate shall be complete and clear and stamped with the quality inspection seal of the material manufacturer. If there is no original quality certificate, the composite plate manufacturer shall obtain a copy stamped with the inspection official seal of the material supplier and the seal of the handler and shall be responsible for the authenticity and consistency of the materials used and the material quality certificate.
3. Packaging, marking, and quality certificate
3.1 Each titanium-clad plate for pressure shall be marked with product mark, batch number, manufacturer's name (or factory logo), production date, etc. on the surface of the cladding material at the end of the plate.
3.2 When delivering the composite plate, the product quality certificate (original) of the clad plate shall be provided, and copies of the quality certificates of the cladding material and the base material shall be provided at the same time.
3.3 The surface of cladding shall be effectively protected to prevent scratches.
3.4 Other requirements shall be in accordance with the standard.
