2. Surface quality
The titanium steel clad plate shall be delivered on the surface of sandblasting, pickling or polishing. The surface of the composite plate shall be free of cracks, peeling, folding, metal or non-metallic inclusions and other defects, and scratches, pits, indentation, and other defects not exceeding half of the thickness tolerance of the composite are allowed. It is allowed to remove local defects on the surface of the composite along the processing direction, but the thickness of the cladding metal after cleaning shall not be less than its minimum allowable thickness.
3. Packaging, transportation, and storage
The titanium steel clad plate is bare. The two sides of the cladding metal are opposite, the middle is lined with moisture-proof paper, and the outside is bound with metal wire. If there are special requirements for packaging, the supplier and the buyer shall negotiate.
Products shall be protected from collision, moisture, and erosion of active chemicals during transportation and storage.
4. Delivery weight
The composite plates shall be delivered according to the theoretical weight.
The theoretical weight of the composite plate is calculated according to the thickness of the composite and substrate, and the length and width of the composite plate. The theoretical weights of 1mm thick titanium plate and steel plate are 4.51kg/m2 and 7.85kg/m2 respectively.
