When planing holes and drilling pipe holes, the blanking and drilling operations should be processed from the titanium layer to the steel layer as much as possible to avoid tearing the composite board or forming cracks.
Welding defects Welding titanium layer should use argon gas with a purity of not less than 99.99% as maintenance gas. Moreover, interlayers and cracks are prohibited in welding wire. Carefully clean up and dispose of the workpiece welding area before welding. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5°C, flames should be used to preheat the base steel surface. For titanium-steel composite plate equipment, the processing technology of titanium weld seam is strip processing, that is, the titanium layer within 15mm of the edge of the composite plate is removed.
