Compared with melt welding, it can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of the weld. In addition, because the explosive welding has an expansion joint effect at the same time, the gap between the tube and the tube sheet can be eliminated, and crevice corrosion can be avoided. Especially when a bimetallic tube sheet is used, it can be welded to the base cladding layer of the tube sheet at the same time when the tube and the tube sheet are explosively welded.

5. The application of composite materials not only makes it possible to require the tube side and the tube shell to be resistant to corrosion by different media respectively, but also makes it possible to use the same material for the tube side and the tube shell respectively. This not only helps to avoid electrochemical corrosion, but also facilitates the use of a welded structure between the cylinder and the tube sheet instead of a flange connection.
