The focus is on transition joints, flanges, etc. For composite plates that do not consider the strength of titanium, flaw detection requires continuous 100% ultrasonic flaw detection within a 50mm wide range around, and 200mm interval flaw detection in other areas. Others, 100% flaw detection. When the composite board has poor plasticity, it needs to be re-annealed to eliminate stress, improve its performance, and avoid defects in subsequent manufacturing.
When the bending operation is required for the reel and stamping head pulling plate, when the temperature is low, the bending part should be preheated with flame to avoid bubbling or cracks. When planing holes and drilling pipe holes, the blanking and drilling operations should be processed from the titanium layer to the steel layer as much as possible to avoid tearing the composite board or forming cracks.
Welding defects Welding titanium layer should use argon gas with a purity of not less than 99.99% as maintenance gas. In addition, the welding wire is not allowed to have cracks and interlayers. Carefully clean up and dispose of the workpiece welding area before welding. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5°C, flames should be used to preheat the base steel surface. For titanium-steel composite plate equipment, the processing technology of titanium weld seam is strip processing, that is, the titanium layer within 15mm of the edge of the composite plate is removed, the steel weld seam is welded first, and then the steel weld seam is completely covered with 50mm wide titanium lath, and the final Welding of the titanium layer with simultaneous argon maintenance.
