2 Material selection of main body of esterification tank

4 Comparison of economic benefits
After installation, the inner wall of the esterification tank has been bright after nearly one year of operation, and there is no corrosion trace on the welds, which has not been repaired once a year. The original stainless steel esterification tank is overhauled once a month and needs to be shut down for 0.5 days. The labor cost and material cost for each overhaul plus the indirect loss caused by the shutdown are equivalent to 12000 yuan. Compared with the equipment investment of titanium esterification tank and stainless steel esterification tank, the investment of a stainless steel esterification tank is 170000 yuan. Although the one-time investment of titanium is 2.4 times of that of stainless steel, the service life of the equipment is extended. It is predicted that the service life of the equipment will be more than 10 years, while the stainless steel equipment is replaced every two years, and the average annual investment of the equipment can be saved by 44000 yuan. The application of titanium composite plate in the reaction tank of esterification tank not only extends the overhaul period of the equipment, It also reduces the unnecessary trouble caused by regular maintenance of equipment to normal production, and also realizes civilized production.
Titanium equipment is widely used in reaction tank, heat exchanger, storage tank and evaporator equipment in the whole plant, and has achieved good economic benefits. However, the price of titanium is relatively high and the one-time investment is high, which restricts the application of titanium to a certain extent.
