In high temperature and high concentration of chloride, pure titanium will have crevice corrosion, which affects its service life. In order to solve the crevice corrosion problem of pure titanium in high temperature and high concentration chloride, a new type of titanium alloy GR12 titanium sheet was developed. GR12 titanium sheet is a near α type titanium alloy with good crevice corrosion resistance in high temperature and high concentration chloride. It can partially replace the high cost ti-0.2pd alloy. It has been listed in the national standard by the United States, Britain, Russia, Japan, France, Germany and other countries, and has been put into industrial production.
